28.12.2003 INTEC Company is entrusted to carry out an expertise.
Realization of the Project on the Karachaganak Gas Processing Plant in Western
Kazakhstan Oblast is scheduled to start in the second quarter of the year 2004.
It is supposed, that construction of this plant will give not only rise to the
third phase of the Karachaganak Field development, but also will solve quite a
number of problems of our Oblast. At the same time Gas Processing Plant will
result in serious problems, the chief being the ecological one. Therefore plant
construction activity should be performed on the basis of the state-of-the-art
technologies and minimal environmental impact.
Early in December the public hearings were held, whereon Preliminary Environmental
Impact Assessment of the Karachaganak Gas Processing Plant construction was considered.
RRPIC “KazEcologiya” developed design of this plant. Public opinion on results of
discussion, appeared in the local press, is far removed from reality.
Therefore INTEC Company is entrusted to carry out expertise of the design on Preliminary
Environmental Impact Assessment of the Gas Processing Plant. Currently INTEC experts are
examining this document.
10.11.2003 On November 7, West Kazakhstan Oblast Akimat reviewed the results of Oblast contest
“Best Commodities of Kazakhstan”. Uralsk Oblast Akim K. Kusherbayev presented the prize
“Quality Star”, instituted by Uralsk Oblast Akim, together with the Certificate in the
nomination “Striving for Quality in Engineering and Design Services” to engineering Company “INTEC”.
In this way, Uralsk Oblast governing body encourages, for the third year running, success and achievements
of local Companies and enterprises.
“INTEC” team, from the very first day of their existence, made the work on continuous and purposeful quality
improvement of the products they made and services they rendered, as most important one. In October, this year the
Company has confirmed that the quality system, integrated in their Company production sphere, is in compliance
with ISO 9001-2000 requirements.
It was noted that “INTEC” is one of Uralsk Oblast Companies that works in accordance with pretty high standards,
applying sophisticated technologies and up-to-date engineering techniques.
This award has become for “INTEC” team another achievement and incentive for further quality perfection.
03.10.2003 “INTEC” Company has confirmed that its Quality System, introduced in production and business activity,
corresponds to ISO 9001-2000 international standard requirements.
On October 3, in the conference hall of JSC “Condensate”, the Ceremony of Quality System Compliance Certificate
granting took place. In a very festive atmosphere, Director of West Kazakhstan Branch of OJSC “National Center of
Expertise and Certification” Mr. Grafkin V.N. handed over the Quality Certificate to General Director of “INTEC” Company Mr. Kazin A.A.
This document verifies that the quality system of design development work for construction of industrial, civil
and environmental protection purpose Facilities, the services on the development of design documentation for production
& process procurement, engineering services in the sphere of enterprise activities, matches international standards requirements.
“INTEC” is the third engineering Company in this country that was granted Quality System Compliance Certificate.
This memorable event, which coincided with the 5-year jubilee of the Company, was marked with congratulations addressed
to all “INTEC” employees and voiced by Sabirgaliyeva R.S. - Deputy Director of Oblast Department on Industry and Fuel-Power
Complex, Dzhunusov V.K. – “Condensate” Group of Companies Council Chairman and other Consortium Company Managers.
13.08.2003 On August 7, CJSC “Inter Gas Central Asia” made official the result of an open competition on state commodity,
work execution and service purchases.
The competition titled “Reinforcing of the above-ground crossover section of gas trunk line Orenburg – Novopskov
over Chagan River, at 247 km. point, including the updating of engineering data”, which took place on July 21,
of the year 2003 has been won by engineering Company “INTEC”.
The Company Specialists will do the work on the “turn-key” basis, starting from the survey of the gas trunk line
crossover condition and completing the job package by putting into operation of the crossover in question, after
reinforcing it with steel – work constructions.
08.07.2003 Beginning of July has marked successful putting into operation of Liquid Mud Plant (LMP), which is the
First Start-up Complex of Waste Management Complex (WMC) within Karachaganak Field.
It has become quite a significant event for engineering Company “INTEC”, that participating in the Project
as one of the major Contractors has developed WMC General Project, Detailed Design Package and realized LMP construction.
Appreciation of the executed work quality standard, voiced by Working Committee members, has evidenced favorable
reception of the Company activities. The Management of KPO b.v. and “BAKER HUGHES INTEQ” sent their
congratulations to “INTEC” staff on successful completion of the first stage of the Facility Commissioning process.
The management of the two Companies has also laid special emphasis on the fact that the Project in question has
become one of the best examples in this country of Western and Kazakhstani Companies productive cooperation.
14.04.2003 Union of Engineering Companies of the Republic of Kazakhstan (abr.
- UEC RK), formed in November 2002 for the purpose of organizing joint
activities of companies in rendering services for foreign and Kazakh
oil-and-gas companies on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstanhas
will be incorporated as a legal entity. Decision about incorporation
was made at the Union Constituent Assembly held on 14 April 2003 in
Atyrau.
At the Assembly a Constituent Agreement was signed, Union Charter ratified,
and members of the Council - one of directing bodies of the association
were defined. Into the Council have been elected: K.K. Baikenov - the
Union Council Chairman, President of "InvestConsulting" Company, A.A.
Kazin - "INTEC" Company General Director, A.N. Nysyngaliyev - Director
of NIPI "CaspiyMunaiGaz", Stefan Tomcik - "Parsons Overseas Company
Kazakhstan" Vice-president and E.G. Yozhikov-Babakhanov - President
of "MontazhSpetsStroy" Company.
Besides, an issue of admitting new members into the Union was considered.
The following Companies have become UEC RK new members: CSC "StroyTransGaz"
(Russia), CSC "Severodonetsky ORGKHIM" (Ukraine), "Parsons Overseas
Company Kazakhstan", Scientific Production Center "Mekensak", CSC "Kazakh
Institute of Oil and Gas" (Kazakhstan). Thus, currently the RK Union
of Engineering Companies consists of 18 companies, which management
consider the Union to be a very promising association capable of assistance
in widening opportunities for participation in large projects, solving
personnel issues, exchanging work experience and software, getting access
to necessary information.
18.03.2003 Decision to dole out to folklore-ethnographic Cossack Center “Yaik”
to ensure participation of the folklore ensemble “Yaikushka” in the
Open National Festival-Contest of Young Talent, was taken at the “Condensate”
Group of Companies Council meeting, held on March 18. The Contest was
held in Moscow on April 5-9.
Ensemble “Yaikushka” makes rejoice the hearts of Uralsk Oblast residents
with their art for ten years already. Participating in various festivals
and concerts, this ensemble performs folklore artistic pieces of Uralsk
Cossacs.
Head of “Yaik” Center and Artistic Director of the ensemble,
N. V. Komarova had cherished, for quite a bit of time, the dream to
take her charges to some really big-scale competition. That was why
she wrote a letter to the Organizing Committee of the festival in Moscow.
As she herself mentioned, she did had not hoped much to get some response
from Moscow. And when, in a fortnight, she received the letter from
Moscow together with Application Form for would-be competition participants,
she was overjoyed. As she put it herself, she was “in heaven”. And it
is easy enough to imagine the feelings of her disciples. All seemed
OK, with one tiny BUT. Quite a pretty penny was needed for the trip
to Moscow and staying there for the period of the Contest. Natalya Vladimirovna
addressed for assistance to many Companies and enterprises in Uralsk,
including “Condensate” Group of Companies.
And “Condensate” was one of the first to respond. In conformity with
the Group of Companies Council resolution, Companies “INTEC” and “UralskNefteGasGeologiya”
allocated considerable share of the needed sum of money.
The children performed in Moscow Contest in quite a fitting manner:
they finally emerged as the third prize winners in the nomination “Folklore
Vocals”.
06.03.2003 "INTEC"-Company has been awarded a recognition award -
Degree 1 Diploma - for active participation in Oblast Forum of entrepreneurs
and in International Exhibition - Fair, held in Uralsk, on February
27-28.
The Fair was held under the patronage of Uralsk Oblast Akimat, Karachaganak
Integrated Organization and Oblast representative office of political
party "Otan". The purpose of these arrangements was establishing direct
business contacts between enterprises and regions. In bright, colorful
pavilions set in the Ice Palace, more than 80 firms and Companies representing
small, medium and big business from Kazakhstan and Russia presented
their produce and commodities.
"INTEC" Company exposition, which aroused lively interest
of numerous visitors, offered complete information on the Company business
activities and gave a chance to get familiarized with some of the Company
produce items. Participation of the Company in the work of West Kazakhstan
Oblast first Forum of entrepreneurs allowed the Company to establish
new connections, to claim attention of potential partners and clients
and, together with other entrepreneurs, to identify the ways of solving
issues, facing the Company.
04.03.2003 "INTEC" Company is a member of Republic of
Kazakhstan Engineering Companies Union - voluntary amalgamation of Companies
created for coordination of their joint activities on rendering engineering,
design and consulting services to foreign and Republic of Kazakhstan
petroleum Companies, operating on Kazakhstan territory.
This Consortium was set up in autumn of the year 2002. The decision
on its setting up was adopted at the engineering and consulting Companies
Managers meeting, held in Uralsk. Besides LLP "INTEC", another
12 Companies are members of the Union. The Union major objectives are
as follows: uniting efforts of the Organization member-Companies in
rendering services to customers, coordination of their production and
business activities, development of cooperation in the spheres of research
and up-to-date technologies and creation of cooperation systems that
are mutual for all Companies. The Consortium represents as well the
interests of participants in the republican, branch and other authorities
and control bodies, in different organizations and institutions, gives
them consultations on activity matters, renders support while carrying
out tenders, negotiations, implements mutually co-ordinated policy among
them.
"INTEC" Company enlarged possibilities on participation in
major projects on a republican scale from the time when "INTEC"
entered Kazakhstani Engineering Companies Union.
In consolidation with other Companies of the Union "INTEC"
is intending to solve problems on training and upgrading of inexperienced
specialists, exchange by work experience and software.
